Welcome to the 2023 Broncos Spring Hockey Program!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. The cost for the 2023 Spring Program is $700 per player and $350 for goalies.

Dear Present and Future Barrington High School Hockey Players:

We are proud to announce the 2023 Broncos Spring Hockey Program! Open to current 8th graders in the Barrington 220 School District, as well as freshmen, sophomores, and juniors at BHS, the spring program is a great opportunity for players to get familiar with the coaches, systems, and their future classmates. 8th graders are strongly encouraged to participate if they intend to play for the Broncos teams in the fall.

Barrington Broncos 2023 Spring Hockey Program will focus on skill development through 3 on 3 small-area games, team practices, and scrimmage games against Scholastic Hockey League and other local HS hockey teams.

The purpose of Broncos Spring Hockey is to better prepare players for the 2023-24 fall season. Varsity and JV Spring Teams will play 6-10 scrimmage games. A local spring tournament will also be considered for both Varsity and JV teams dependent on team rosters.

Teams will have 12 practices/skills sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings. Home slots for game slots will be on Sunday evenings. Spring jerseys will be included. Cost is $700 for players/$350 for goalies.

Please note that the Barrington Broncos Hockey Club does allow for registered spring players to "double roster" with other Tier 1 and Tier 2 hockey clubs during the spring season

Spring Season runs from April 3 - May 23
Player Evaluations at Crystal Ice House

March 6
6:10 pm - 7:10pm: 8th Graders and Freshmen
7:20pm - 8:20pm: Sophomores and Juniors

March 7 
6:10 pm - 7:10 pm   Varsity tryout

March 8
7:10 pm -8:10 pm    Varsity Tryout

March 9th

6:10 pm - 7:10 pm   Varsity Tryout

Team Rosters announced on final day of tryouts.

Final Spring Team Rosters will be posted on the BHS Hockey website on March 13)

Players must have a current USA Hockey confirmation code. Players who registered in Spring 2022 with USA Hockey will have a code that is valid through August 2023.  You will be asked to enter it later in the registration.  
If you do not have a current USA Hockey code: 

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
